2015 brought with it many lessons for me. One of those most important lessons is learning about the place art has in my life. I invested time in playing with art – nothing more. While I knew I would face personal growth, I didn’t anticipate the benefits would be so great.
I am hoping 2016 can bring with it more art play – and more art play that fosters personal growth. – because hey, what a fun way to grow.
Self-guided approach to education sits really well with me so I am really enjoying the path to a less formal type of art education. Intuition has been my most important teacher thus far…. and tuning into her voice is one of the hardest yet most joyful lessons!
I’d love to join LifeBook 2016 – i just hope the aussie dollar improves soon to make it feasible!

I would love to win a spot in the lifebook class. My dream is to be able to draw like you and Tamara. I love your work. I have been going thru some hard times lately and this would be wonderful to get me back into the groove. It won’t take away the hurt and the sadness, but it will help keep me busy and maybe putting my fellings into my art. thank you for the opportunity.

I have never done a Life Book course before but, I would so love the opportunity to win a place to learn from you and to grow further as an artist. On a personal level, I have learned this year just how short and precious life is and it has encouraged me to stop putting off my art dreams. Doing this course would be a dream come true.

There are soooo many tidbits and juicinesses to be learned! I am in LOVE with paper! And oil pastels and rainbowy pencils and sherbety acrylics! (Paint pens, pencils…sigh…) In this class, I will spill my crazy ruby heart out whether it’s on my own canvas or commenting like a cosmic-fairy-of-positivity-BFF in support of other artists’ wonderful works! Inky, shadowy, smeary and bright, my wild soul needs a safe & crazy place to land. And with a propensity for napping and daydreaming, I need something like Lifebook to kick my ass into gear! I have a passion–okay OBSESSION–for learning and it makes me all swoony at the gills to imagine learning from some of the art mermaidens that teach in LifeBook. My ability to love and fly free was almost lost this year…I’ve got some good and necessary spackling and sparkling to do. Should I tell you I’d love a free spot in this great, wild blue? It would be an inky sweet dream come true….xo, Julia

I ”discovered” art two years ago and now cannot imagine my life without it. I would love to win a spot on Lifebook 2016 to learn different techniques and styles from all the different teachers. I am already on your newsletter list. I don’t have Instagram but will get my husband to sign me up on the weekend.

Since we found out my dad has cancer its been difficult for me to think about anything else. (I’m a nurse and see this happen to other people every day). I started falling apart. One day while searching treatments, testimonies on Pinterest I came across LIFEBOOK2015. I’ve loved art all my life and found this interesting. After a little research on LIFEBOOK decided to join. I have never felt so blessed and so much support from this group. After the first weeks lesson I stopped worrying so much. I felt better and my dad was doing great. LIFEBOOK 2015 gave me the outlet I needed and let me freely express my emotions on paper. I am soo grateful for this opportunity and hope I can continue every year.

  • Alli

Thank you Jane, for the chance to win a spot! It must feel wonderful to inspire people all over the globe with your unbelievable talents. I’m constantly in awe of you, thinking to myself: how can one person have so much FABULOUS!?!
We all have a lot to learn from you!

  • Kim

Serendipity maybe? I’ve been off work on sick leave since July and I feel uninspired and dull inside. I bought your Beautiful Faces book months ago and sat it on my bookshelf. I found you on instagram around the same time as I was looking for a special kind of inspirational art. Today I picked up your book and flicked through and it opened on your ecourse page so I looked it up. Today was the first time in months I felt that spark of wanting to do something creative and believing I might actually go through with it. Your enthusiasm and positivity radiate from the video clip and brought a genuine smile (and a slight giggle) as I used to be that funny, positive person. I also see that a few other mums are struggling with health and creativity and these comments are comforting.
I wish to be part of this positive, uplifting and creative environment. x

  • Kirstin
