I am having a very joyful day…  the birds are singing and I have been painting in the garden. If you saw me out there you may have thought, “Isn’t that nice, she looks like she is just quietly enjoying herself. I wish I had time to do that.” But I am in fact, NOT being quiet. Take a step closer and you will hear me umming and ahhhing at the colours and shimmers and glimmers flowing from my brush…and inside my head, right behind my eyes there is a full-blown music festival, a cacophony of music and lights and lasers and screaming fans!

That’s because I am using some of the very best watercolour I have ever created and used. Let’s lift the stage curtains on it!

This is a transparent type of watercolour that remains a a little soft after activating which makes it better for mixing even more colours and high staining effects. The colours are very concentrated – a little goes a long way! There are multiple formulas in the set and the settling level of each pan varies. Usually the more concentrated the colour, the lower the settle level in the pan!

Part of the magic of these colours is that the formula is semi-moist, which means it is easy to activate each colour. this also means that the watercolour can be soft, especially after use so store the watercolours horizontally or flat
