Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Hello?! – A new alcohol marker is about to be released!  I got to test them in Brisbane…The Spectrum Noirs are very juicy and blend well.  The importer let me have the whole set to do with as I wanted for three days…I used them for my drawing demonstrations, did a few journal pages and generally fell in love.  I will definitely be carrying them in my store.  And at $15 for a set of 6, they represent unbelievable value! They are going through some manufacturing refinements and will be launched in Australia in November ♥. Something for the Christmas list!

I used them on some journal pages…I just love the way alcohol markers blend and layer… they really add dimension and luminous colour….

I don’t think they will replace my Copics, but they will be a great addition, especially when I have created a page with so much texture a 4wd is required to get over all the lumps and bumps! Because they are so much cheaper, I won’t hesitate to use them for fear of wrecking them!

I added a few more copics to my ever-growing collection too… what is this HOLD markers have over me? I am always using them… they are the fluid version of coloured pencil I guess… easy to control,  always at the ready, no prep or clean up…mmmm yes… i feel like drawing now… see you later!
