Melbourne international flower and garden show

The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show ( think Chelsea Flower and Garden show in London- but even more beautiful!) starts on Wednesday and I have travelled down with The Institute of Cute (IOC) team* to assist in the set-up.

I designed all three of the stands and Angus The Great has made all the tricky Tree-shapes… Like a cute little forest!

The IOC is positioned outside under enormous fig trees and all the stands sport our red with giant black polka dots. Designs for this space include my ladybird, bee and the new frog Toothbrush plus bug bling ( jewellery!), Buggage (bags!)and cute ladybird inspired windmills!

My gallery is in the posh upstairs arts area (near the cafe- yay!).

And I created a whole new shop called ‘Birds and Butterflies’…which has more of my designs, including jewellery, bags and tops with my illustrations screen printed on them, journals and even darling iPhone covers!

It takes all year to prepare for the next three weeks.

* The team consists of just Angus and I. Yes we are small…but effective!
