My life right now:

A top hat full of art supplies… My kind of shopping trip!

Teesha Moore recommended Liquitex and Golden Flouro paints as favourites in Mermaid Circus. So of course, I want them immediately! Trouble is, neither of the distributors in Australia even bother importing them… and they are out of stock at Blicks ( and the postage is crazy). SO! I was forced  – FORCED (lol!) to go shopping and see what I could find.

The Daler Rowney Chroma 3 System paints I found in my local art supply store are pretty darn powerful! I am a little bit smitten….

The markers are Poscas from the newsagent. A chubby Flouro pink – delish, and a Chalk marker in red – and OMG – it is flouro tomato… and I will be looking at the other colours they had when I am in Byron again.

The ink is Process Magenta FW…its heaven in a bottle.

And the last little bottle is a new Aussie made fluid acrylic. I’ll be playing with it a little more before recommending – but it’s nice so far!

And the top hat? well! I am The Ringmaster at the Mermaid Circus – so I thought I better dress the part when I am painting for the tutorials!
