On Birds and Stones

So, today I killed many birds with the same stone… and I am just deciding I really don’t like that saying at all. I am creating videos for ‘Faces Week’ in I Heart drawing,  and wanted to demonstrate how to construct a turned face.

And then I remembered this weeks lesson on Lifebook was a 3/4 face… so I thought, OK, I’ll do them both at the same time! In Lifebook we are using watercolour paper, so this pretty flowed out on to the Fabriano Artistico Hotpress paper.

….and then, i noticed on my ‘to-do’ list was to prep for my class at Teesha Moore’s Artfest Annex, especially creating smooooooooth skin tones for the ‘Comfort Drawing’ day…. and I had a lovely drawing to practice on! And here she is, this sultry, flame haired beauty…

I love my ‘job’.
