I wish I could leave this lovely pen 5 stars cause it is satisfying weight and smooth writing for sure…the problem is that I can’t find black refills. Not at the store I bought it(michaels) nor on JDs own website. So this gorgeous p err n has become basically useless and a symbol of wasted money and frustration. I would think basic black cartridges or bottle would be a staple. I know that if I could get refills easily i would use this is pen daily, joyfully and the 5 star rating it would truly deserve.

I absolutely adore using fountain pens. I grew up in the 60s which were magical (nothing to do with the pens sorry!) but we used pencils until our writing was good enough to be presented with a fountain pen in a box, a huge honour.
So that resonated with me my whole life. When I saw they were available in the JD shop I had to buy one thinking that it would be good but only for art -NO THEY ARE AMAZING. So I bought another, then I bought the Carbon Ink pen and now I’m back to buy the package.
It is impossible to write badly in ink from a fountain pen. The very action of using the pen causes us to slow down and the writing becomes beautiful. Everyone can write beautifully – then throw away your sentiments! Plus have you checked the price of a good fountain pen? I have and they are so very expensive, then ink cost.
So this is such a good purchase don’t think just buy. I guarantee you will love it and the results.
If you aren’t ready to buy the package buy a single pen with some coloured refills first but you will be back because you will become a fountain pen addict!!

This is a very common ‘Universal ‘ cartridge size.
The INKredible pen also comes with an ink convertor which allows you to refill forever with the ink of your choice.
So maybe it really does deserve the 5 stars promised!
