Well, the second Artomology WWW (Whimsical Weekend Workshop!) was full within hours of announcing it. So I have added one last session for the year: 8th and 9th of December.
And work has just commenced on the Painting Pagoda nestled in my forest, so I think we will all be able to create under the trees as well during the workshop. How delightfully awesome will that be? The view is rather spectacular from there too…It won’t be completed until next year, but Ben the builder thinks he *may* get the deck finished before the first workshop. Fingers crossed!
It’s a low profile, wildlife friendly structure being made with reclaimed timber, wildlife corridor underneath, and just one tree had to be removed…but it was a infant rainforest giant and would have grown to take over the whole forest, so had to go anyway. We pegged out the space this morning.
Because the Workshops filled so quickly, Angus and I are really examining the whole house with different eyes and looking to see all the fantastic places we have to share to make the learning experience as fun, beautiful and inspiring as possible. I can’t wait to welcome my students!
