Pandering for Attention

I have been a busy little bee! And I am finally ready to reveal some of what I have been working on. This piece is called ‘Pandering for Attention”. It is the first in a new series called Sidekick. It was inspired by the lyrics in a Lisa Mitchell song “even the bravest lion needs a sidekick”…

That sentiment just resonated with me and I have been drawing girls and their ‘sidekicks’ ever since. But they are not the usual superhero style…I  suppose they could be more likened to totem animals, or spirit guides… somewhere safe to lay your head…

And I have gotten organised and had a superfine screenprint of ‘Pandering’ created…a souvenir of the upcoming show in my gallery.
