Last year I went to Mexico twice, and fell in love with it’s vibrancy and strong sense of itself!… so it is with great excitement that I tell you about the 2 workshops I have planned in Mexico around this time next year.
My trip organisers are two ladies who have been leading culinary tours for 17 years… so not only will this be an overload of art and inspiration, but our tummies will be VERY, VERY happy.

The first workshop is in Mexico City, and is all about channelling the incredible Frida Kahlo and letting her inspire our art. I can’t wait to visit her house and get ‘closer’ to her, understand her more as a person and as an artist. I want to be overwhelmed, mystified and inspired by her.
Mexico City is regarded as a flourishing and exciting place, just like any big city, some areas are to be avoided by tourists, but we will be well looked after by our hosts – plus my adorable Mr Angus will be there to carry our bags, and keep our hands free for random art making (and shopping – Mexico is a country of colour, and for a sufferer of Rainbowitis, it’s paradise!).
Our B& B is regarded as an experience in and of itself – travel writers have hailed as one of the best in the world! The world! There is so much happening, to see and explore in total safety and inspiration… I can’t wait!

The second week is a separate workshop and we spend it in Oaxaca ( pronounced wha-hah-kah). I have one word :AMAZING.
Whenever I meet people that have been to Oaxaca, they get misty eyed and a dreamy look settles over their faces. So I have to find out for myself what magic exists there!
Read what Kathie has planned for us, and book in – you won’t be able to resist!

You can come on either workshop, or both. Viva Frida, flows straight into Whimsical Oaxcaca.
Is this really happening? Pinch me! Dreams do get to come true.
…..
If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram, then you know how much fun I have been having in the USA. I will do a proper post about it with images and all fun times when I have a longer moment – maybe I’ll write it on that looooong flight home next week?!
Life is good, so come to Mexico with me already!
