Aaaaah Sunday. How I love you. (I’m swimming in my pool and seeing if my iPhone five can handle me dictating this blog. Sci-fi say good. {I’ll try that again Sciphone say good. Hmmm …Faisal cited . Side by side glued. So far so good. Finally! So far so good !!! } So the trick is to speak with an American accent and then my application understands me perfectly…)

Moo has joined me… she likes to float around on my boogie board.

All of this is balm for my soul after  such sad events in the USA this week.

So that was joy one.

This is joy two, sent to me from Denise in Portugal, one of my gorgeous Draw Happy workshop students:

“I don’t know why, but drawing this has just got me so super happy…I’m feeling so empowered with all these new skills and like the messages I have inside, can now be depicted and expressed visually.

Most times I have the idea in my head but no clue on how to execute, and so I’d fall back on the excuse of “well I can’t really draw, so that idea will just have to stay an idea.” Then I proceed to bottle my thoughts up inside.

Lately since watching your videos, I feel more whole…my art is inside my mind as well as on paper now, and afterwards it feels like I’ve been to a psychologist and had a big “dump” sesh with him/her…except this works out way cheaper and is a whole lot more enjoyable! 

So, obrigada Jane!”

“my latest little joy has been playing with my grand daughters and using them when we bake… (we have clean ones just for cooking…lol…) we sprinkle icing sugar through them… and make thick icing sugar to stencil coat our baked biscuits as well… perfect for a little extra Christmas cheer… and yes… tonight… I will be dreaming of stencils…
