The First weekend at The Nest was so much Fun. I had a lovely time fussing around and getting everything all pretty for my guests. Things didn’t stay tidy for very long!
Especially when I released the AMAZING silk ‘scraps’ my mother had sent over. She is a Fashion Designer, Liz Davenport, and specialises in the most incredible printed silk chiffons.
I really adore and admire my students. They work so hard and still have fun…Robin flew in from Seattle and was bright as a button!Look how cute they all are ( we really did have such a happy time!):
I just adore hanging out with such cool chicks and teaching – you’ve heard me saying it over and over (Too bad for you! lol!). You’ll hear it from me in the future too….
We made our own journals, and started filling them up. These are all shots of Work In Progress. Look at all the different interpretations of my lessons from just two days:
My next group of awesome, awesome students arrives on Saturday and I can’t wait to open up my studio, my home and my heart to them all.
If you have the opportunity to go to a live art workshop with a favourite artist, grab it, don’t hesitate – go have some fantastic arty fun.
